InvoiceHug (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “InvoiceHug”) operates invoicehug.com and its invoice, quote, estimate, and receipt generator tools (together, the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, what we don’t, how advertising on the Site works, and your choices.
By using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
The Short Version
- Our tools store nothing. Everything you type into the invoice, quote, estimate, or receipt generators stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers.
- We don’t require an account. No sign-up, no email, no password.
- We run ads (Google AdSense) to keep the Site free. Google and its partners may use cookies to personalize those ads. This is the only third-party data sharing on the Site, and it’s limited to advertising, not your invoice data.
- The Contact form sends your name, email, and message to our inbox via a third-party form provider, solely so we can reply to you.
The full detail is below.
Information We Do Not Collect
Our generator tools (Invoice, Quote, Estimate, Receipt, and the Invoice Template) run entirely client-side, meaning the code executes in your browser, not on a server. When you enter your business name, client details, line items, amounts, or upload a logo:
- That data is processed locally on your device only.
- It is never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers or any database.
- We cannot see it, do not log it, and have no record of it ever existing.
- Closing the tab or refreshing the page permanently erases everything you entered.
- The PDF you download is generated and saved directly to your device, it never passes through us.
This means nobody at InvoiceHug, and no third party, can see the content of any invoice, quote, estimate, or receipt you create.
Information We Do Collect
Contact Form Submissions
If you use our Contact page, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, solely to respond to your inquiry. This is sent through a third-party form delivery service and lands in our inbox. We don’t use it for marketing, add you to any list, or share it beyond what’s needed to receive your message.
Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display ads on the Site, which helps us keep every tool free with no sign-up required. As part of this:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.
- Google’s advertising cookies enable it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits here and elsewhere on the internet.
- This is separate from, and unrelated to, the data you enter into our invoicing tools. Ad cookies never have access to what you type into the Site’s generators.
Your choices:
- Opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of some third-party vendor cookies used for personalized advertising via www.aboutads.info/choices.
- Learn more about how Google uses data at Google’s Privacy & Terms page.
- Control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect ad personalization but has no effect on your ability to use any InvoiceHug tool, since none of them rely on cookies to function.
- Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are served non-personalized ads only. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies for basic functions like fraud prevention and frequency capping, but are not based on your browsing history or personal data.
[If Google Analytics or any other tracking/analytics tool is added later, add a matching disclosure paragraph here before enabling it.]
Legal Basis & Your Rights (EEA/UK/California Visitors)
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or California, you may have rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA regarding personal data collected via advertising cookies, including the right to know what’s collected, to opt out of its sale/sharing, and to request deletion. Since our tools themselves collect nothing, these rights primarily apply to advertising cookies described above.
Because we serve non-personalized ads to visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, a consent management platform (CMP) is not currently required under Google’s EU User Consent Policy. If this changes in the future, for example, if we enable personalized ads for these regions, this policy will be updated to reflect the consent mechanism in place at that time.
Children’s Privacy
InvoiceHug is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any site you visit independently.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.

This policy is a general-purpose template, not legal advice. It’s written to stay accurate as your site grows, but if you later add a cookie consent banner (recommended if EU/UK traffic becomes significant), update the “Legal Basis & Your Rights” section to reference it. For jurisdiction-specific compliance guarantees, consult a legal professional.
